Glen Douglas 'Doug' Anderson, age 64, Joplin, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019, surrounded by his family.
Doug was born March 3, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas to Delmar Anderson and Marjorie Lacey Anderson. He married the love of his life, Tammy Watts Anderson, on March 26, 1976 in Joplin.
A welder by trade, Doug had also worked as a floor tech at Freeman.
Doug is survived by his wife, Tammy; two sons, Jody Anderson and his wife, Shelby, Joplin, Dougie Anderson and his wife, Trina, Joplin; one brother, John Anderson and his wife, Becky, Osage Beach; five sisters, Wanda Hanke, Kim Daniels, Tammy Herron, Donna Anderson, all of Joplin, Barbie Chituck and husband, Tim, Emporia, Kansas; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services are planned for Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Joplin Full Gospel Church. Josh Patrick will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-5:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
