Vivian Pendergraft

Vivian Ann Moran Pendergraft, age 84, Joplin, passed away at 2:23 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital.

Vivian was born August 16, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late William H. McClain and Laura Clemens McClain and had lived in the Joplin area most of her life.

Vivian worked at C-Tech in Joplin for several years and also worked in home health for Oxford Healthcare for some time. She was a faithful member of Blendville Christian Church and had also attended Webb City Nazarene Church.

In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by two husbands, Earl Moran and Duane A. Pendergraft; two daughters, Rosella Butts and Linda Lee Moran; a stepdaughter, Bonnie Covey; two brothers, Bobby and Claude McClain; two sisters, Betty Rose Chafee and Dollie McClain; and a special friend, Darold Cannon.








Survivors include her children, Ralph R. Dumm, Asbury, Earl Moran, Jr., Seneca, Vivian Greene, Oklahoma, Earline Putnam, Stockton, Cindy Stoops, Oklahoma, Blinda Gideon, Joplin; step children, Earl L. Moran and Frances Hunt, both of Joplin, Patty Jordan, Texas, Dwight Pendergraft, Florida, Donald Pendergraft, Colorado, Jimmy Pendergraft, California; and many grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Services are planned for Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Virgil Eubanks will officiate. Interment will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Earl Moran, Jr., David Eads, Chris Bell, Tom Putnam, Kyle Rinehart and Nick Bell. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to either Blendville Christian Church or to Webb City Nazarene Church, both in care of Parker Mortuary.
