Ron Coffey

Ronald Keith Coffey, age 81, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Wildwood Senior Living.

Ron was born July 14, 1938 in Joplin, son of the late Leonard and Velma Coffey. He graduated from Joplin High School, attended Joplin Junior College, and Pittsburg State University. He was a residential and commercial real estate broker for almost 40 years. He worked for Charles Burt Realtors, and was owner of Century 21 Coffey and Associates, and Evergreen Real Estate. Ron enjoyed working in the yard, cards with the guys, assisting people with real estate needs, and family get togethers.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Coffey.








Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Nancy Sistrunk Coffey; two sons, Randy Coffey and wife Seantel of Joplin, Rick Coffey and wife Sandy of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Randon Coffey and wife Nancy of Lincoln, Nebraska, Shaylea Brown and husband Taylor of Joplin, Ava Coffey, Olivia Coffey, and Cameron Coffey all of Austin; great-grandchild, Gwendolyn Brown; brothers, Roger Coffey of Olympia, Washington, Dennis Coffey of Prescott, Arizona.

Memorial service will be Friday, July 26th, at 11:00 a.m. at Harmony Heights Baptist Church with Rev Charlie Burnett officiating.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Harmony Heights Baptist Church or Mount Hope Church of Christ care of Parker Mortuary.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
