Mr. Kelson Saimon Rehobson, 58, Goodman, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Missouri, after a sudden illness.
Kelson entered this life on August 4, 1960, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, born to the union of the late Clement Rehobson and Resel Saimon. His formative years were spent in Pohnpei and Saipan Micronesia. He resided in Hawaii and California before moving to the Goodman, Missouri area in 1986.
On March 9, 1990, he was united in marriage to Brenda Jones and together they have shared the last twenty-nine years. He was a final assembler with La-Z-Boy in Neosho, Missouri. He enjoyed golf, softball, shooting pool and spending time with his family. He was a member of the First Micronesian Church of Christ in Goodman, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Kernel and Jimmy Rehobson.
Kelson is survived by his wife, Brenda Rehobson of the home; three children, Gloria Cook and husband, Joe, of Stella, Missouri, Rhonda Craven and husband, Kenny, of Neosho, Missouri and Toni Rasmussen and husband, Mark, of Goodman; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Liwihner Rehobson and husband, Isamo Manuel, of Goodman; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2019, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Jim Handy officiating. Burial will follow in the Howard Cemetery in Goodman. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Joe Cook, Kenny Craven, Mark Rasmussen, Whyneld Dick, Chachi George Igisomar and Kernel Rehobson, Jr. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
