Christina L. Stephens is resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior on July 15, 2019, at the age of 57. She was born May 9, 1962 in Hot Springs, AR to Dawney and Dorothy (Bailey) White.
Christina was a Senior Purchasing Agent for MODOT. She was a member of the Sac River Cowboy Church in Springfield, MO. Christina enjoyed family time, watching movies, and playing the game, Farkle. She loved the laughter that would fill the room as she would Farkle, and told stories about her childhood butter loving days. She came to family events with her famous deviled eggs, or her green chili enchiladas; we sure will miss those. She loved great BBQ ribs and her dream was to have a food truck when she retired. She loved to travel when she could. She and her sister, Diana were planning a trip to Israel for the next year. Christina also loved her dogs, treating them as if she were their aunt; they were spoiled and very much loved. Christina always had a smile on her face and, upon meeting her, people would fall in love with her great sense of humor and positive personality. She was always happy when she was with family and was full of life. We all love her and will miss her dearly.
Christina is survived by two brothers, Michael White and wife, Cindy of New Melle, MO and David White and wife, Crystal of Springfield, MO; one sister, Diana White of Ritchey, MO; three nephews, Michael White, Jr., Joshua White, and Zachary White; one niece, Beth Druckman; and one great nephew, Tyler White. She was preceded in death by her dear mother, Dorothy Nell and her father, DL White.
Services will be 10 am Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel, Granby, MO. Scotty Kilingsworth will officiate. Interment will follow at Newtonia IOOF Cemetery, Newtonia, MO. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday evening at Clark Funeral Home, Granby.
