(From Simpson Funeral Home)Marvin Don Tandy age 70 of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at his home. He was born on August 18, 1950 in Davenport, Iowa to Oliver Tandy and Donna (Wilcox) Tandy.
Don is a United States Army veteran having served his county in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed riding his Harleys with his family and friends and enjoyed camping with his nephews and nieces. Don loved holiday gatherings such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, this year will different in many ways but we will all remember him each in our own ways.
He is survived by his brother, Rodney Spillman and wife Virginia; nephews, Donny Spillman, Ronny Spillman, Johnny Spillman; and nieces, Cindy Spillman and Tammy Spillman. The family would like to thank all of Don’s neighbors and friends for the love and care at this time.
Viewing will be on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Simpson Funeral Home between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Reverend Bob Simon officiating.
