(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)Letha Mae Washam, age 90, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 9:23 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020, at St. Luke’s Nursing Center in Carthage, Missouri. She was born August 26, 1930, in Hancock County, Illinois, the daughter of Harold Everett and Gladys Cleo (Mapes) Mosher.
Mae worked in housekeeping for the Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, retiring after 27 years.
On November 23, 1951, she married Roy Wayne Washam, in Miller. He preceded her in death on December 23, 1987.
Mae is survived by her two sisters, Rosemary Stanley and her husband, Dan, of Carthage, Missouri and Phyllis Johnson and her husband, Terry, of Jasper, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Gladys, her husband, Roy, two brothers, John Everett Mosher and Keith Mosher, two sisters, Dorothy Baker and her husband, Fred and Pearl Hood and her husband, Frank, brother-in-law, Keith Washam and sister-in-law, Marie Hutchinson.
A visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Sycamore Cemetery northeast of Miller.
