(From Parker Mortuary)Brenda Jean Nichols, age 72, Carl Junction, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2021 at Freeman West.
Brenda was born March 4, 1949 in Joplin, daughter of the late Edward Cyrus Ash and Emma (Landreth) Ash. She grew up in Joplin and graduated from Joplin High School. She worked for years with Motorola of Joplin, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Miller and Helen Judy Ash.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Danny Ray Nichols; son, Chad Nichols of Carl Junction, and her grandson, Austin Nichols of Carl Junction; sister, Shirley Elliott and husband Norman of Bow, New Jersey; several nieces and nephews.
The family is planning on a graveside service at a later date in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
