(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Leslie Ann Root, age 45, of Joplin, MO passed away following an illness on June 14, 2021.
Leslie was born on October 3,1975, in Temple, TX to Gary & Linda (Jones) Sitton.
She was a proud mother to Ethan and Kennedy, and enjoyed living life to the fullest.
Outside of being an endoscopy technician, she loved to travel. Finding a job as a traveling endoscopy technician brought so much joy to her life. Her favorite places to work were Alaska and Hawaii, but with her job she was able to travel all over the country.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Sitton.
Leslie is survived by her son, Ethan Root of Joplin, MO, and daughter, Kennedy Root of Fullerton, CA; along with her mother, Linda Sitton of Joplin, and siblings: Dean Sitton & wife Katie of Joplin, Ryan Sitton & wife Skyler of Springfield, MO, Brendan Sitton of Cincinnati, OH, and Amanda Sitton of Tampa, FL.
A visitation for Leslie will be held at Mason-Woodard Chapel from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19th, 2021.
