(From Clark Funeral Home)Richard “Rick” Wilson, 71, Neosho, MO entered into rest June 16, 2021 after a short illness. He was born September 8, 1949 in Tulsa, OK to Nellie (Duel) and Walter Wilson.
Rick was a longtime resident of Neosho. He retired in 2006 from Talbot/Leggett & Platt after over 35 years as a warehouse supervisor.
Rick enjoyed working in his yard and loved being with his family. He and Karen Grissom were married August 10, 1968 in Neosho and she survives of the home.
Rick is also survived by two children, Amber (Walter) Busby of Jasper, MO and Brandon Wilson of Neosho, MO; one brother, Tom (Sharon) Wilson of the state of Arkansas; three sisters, Peggy Allen of Eufaula, OK, Sandy (Oren) Raulston of Neosho, and Terri (Trace) Frey of Neosho; two grandchildren, Jade Benhardt of Springfield, MO and Bailee (Steven) French of Joplin, MO; three step-grandsons, Winston French, Reese French, and Connor French; one great grandchild, Anika French; and his mother-in-law, June Grissom. He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandmother, Alma Duel; one niece, Alissa Stuart; and his father-in-law, Norman Grissom.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery, Neosho, MO. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO. The casket will remain closed at all times, per the family’s wishes.
