Christopher Wilder

Christopher Wilder of Neosho, MO, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Christopher was born June 21, 1968 in Peoria, IL. 

After graduating from high school, Christopher served in the Air Force in combat operations until he was medically released after an injury. He was a certified boiler technician, ammonia technician 2, and worked his way from maintenance supervisor at ConAgra foods in Streator, Il, to General Manager of Ajinomoto Foods Joplin plan, MO. 








He was dedicated to his craft and considered those he worked with as family. He served in the community as a member of the Joplin Chamber of Commerce. His most recent passion was caring for, and driving his race car, Rita. His forever passion was cooking incredible delicacies to spoil his family, nuclear and work.

Christopher was preceded in death by his sister Amy Kiel. Survived by his mother and step-father Linda (Ricketts) and Tom Flippo, father and step-mother Gerald and Judy Wilder, his loving, devoted wife Laurie (DeLong) Wilder, 7 children; Tamorra DeLong, Ricky Schumacher, Nancy Sugarick, Jaimi (DeLong) Chafin, Dylan Wilder, Cory Wilder and Kari Wilder, 14 Grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held at Mason Woodard Mortuary on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 6:00 PM.
