Gary Wimpey

Gary Clyde Wimpey, 79 years young, of Goodman, Missouri, passed away June 21, 2021. He was born November 11, 1941, to the late Carol and Ruth Wimpey. He loved to hunt, and fish.

He graduated Goodman High School in 1959. He was a life long resident of Goodman, Missouri. He was in the United States Marine Corps as a USA Corporal E4. He was a hog farmer in the 70’s and 80’s. He worked for Buddy L., La-Z-Boy, and Tyson Foods, in Neosho, Missouri, for 20 years.








He was a wonderful father and grandfather. Gary had three daughters; Julie and husband Keith Honeyman, of Goodman, Missouri, Ashley Wimpey of Goodman, Missouri, Misty Edwards of Anderson; one son, Ronnie and wife Gina Craig of Kansas; three siblings, Lisa and husband Brent Suskey, of Arkansas. Rick Wimpey, of Neosho, Missouri. Steve and Sind Wimpey, of Goodman, Missouri. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Cerria Wimpey, Jeremiah Wimpey (A.K.A. Jocko), Rayden Riggs with Fiancé Kelsey Patrick, Taylor Divine, Taylor Divine, Elija Wimpey, Ryonna Votipka, Zack Owens, Amber Marston, Jack Owens II, Lyric Wimpey. Several great grandchildren; Brooklyn Ratliff, Brynlee Wimpey, Madalyn Riggs, Hadlee Dixion, Cason, Lakynn, Larson, Arias Owens.

He loved his grandkids and great grandchildren. He always had a funny song to sing to them.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one granddaughter, Ivy Cheyanne Wimpey.

Memorial Services will be announced and held at a later date.
