(From Clark Funeral Home)Cheryl Louise Modlin entered into rest on June 23, 2021 at her home in Neosho, following an extended illness at the age of 67.
Cheryl was born November 28, 1953 in Neosho and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Neosho High School, class of 1971 and was a homemaker.
Cheryl married Monty Modlin and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by two children, Chris (Nicole) Kesinger of Joplin and Lyndsey Hagood-English of Neosho; grandchildren, Cody, Kyli, Leo, Brielle and Scarlett; great grandchildren, Finn and Andrah; one brother, Donald Vilandre of Neosho and two sisters, Roxanne Hagood and Kathy Vilandre, both of Neosho.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Edward and Ila Hagood and her mother and stepfather, Florence and Raymond Vilandre.
Cheryl will be laid to rest next to her father, Edward at a later date.
