(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)Jodie Danielle Cole, age 33, of Monett, Missouri, passed away at 5:01 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the Cox Hospital in Monett. She was born July 20, 1987, in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Timothy Brian and Denise Ann (Jamison) Lofton.
Jodie was a 2007 graduate of Aurora High School in Aurora, Missouri and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Faith Full Gospel Church in Aurora.
On December 14, 2008, she married Travis Lee Cole in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
Jodie is survived by her husband of 12 years, Travis; one son, Skyler Cole; one daughter, Sylvia Cole all of Monett; her mother, Denise Lofton and Eugene Killman, Jr. of Aurora; two sisters, Ashley Lofton and her husband, Jeremy Cates, of Shell Knob, Missouri and Kayla Marquez and her husband, Jorge of Monett; two brothers, Hunter Killman of Aurora and Justin Burgess of Monett; mother and father-in-law, Vickie and Marty Hunnell of Monett; father and mother-in-law, Floyd and Kelly Cole of Neosho, Missouri; four sisters-in-law, Stephanie Tucker of Aurora, Dakotah Cole of Monett, Heather Obenshain and her husband, Josh of Centerton, Arkansas and Ashlee Sherrick of Neosho, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
Jodie was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Lofton.
A visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
Memorial donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
