(From Parker Mortuary)Leanard Gale Stout, age 79, of Joplin, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Freeman West of Joplin.
Leanard was born December 24, 1941 at Freeman Hopsital to the late union of Hubert and Genevive (Rowe) Stout.
After school he enlisted into the Navy in 1960 until 1964. Then served in the Army from 1964 until 1973. In 1973, Leanard went to be a part of the Vietnam War.
After coming home, he attended Southwest Baptist College where he met the love of his life. On August 11, 1974, Leanard married Loretta (Harrell) Stout at Southside Baptist Church in Bolivar, MO. Together they shared 46 years and had four children, Lorna, Andrael, Jonathan, and Jedediah.
In addition to his parents, Leanard is preceded in death by his son Andrael Nathanael Stout.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Stout; three children, Lorna Stout, Jedediah Stout, and Jonathan Stout; two siblings, Cliff Stout and Eve Lee McCraw; along with many nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
