(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Freddie Gilbert Beets of Miami, OK passed from this life Monday, June 21, 2021 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO. He was 80.
Freddie was born August 12, 1940 at Claremore, OK. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Peoria Tribe. He was an auto mechanic.
Freddie was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathrine Marie Beets, his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Freddie is survived by his wife Donna of the home, 4 sons, John Beets of Commerce, OK, David Beets of Ada, OK, Sam Beets of Miami, OK and Carson Beets of Neosho, MO, 1 daughter, Lavada Beets Kinney of Houston, TX, 3 step-daughters, Jessica Bennett of Fulton, MO, Arisa Winkler of Madison, Missouri and Kayla Newburn of Fulton, MO, 1 brother, Ronald Stand of Miami, OK, 31 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Beets' wishes were to be cremated. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Sandy Captain Cultural Center in Seneca, MO. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until service time at the Sandy Captain Cultural Center.
