(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Harry J. Parker, 75, Joplin, MO, passed into eternal rest June 9,2021 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.
Harry James Parker was born May 19,1946 in Antioch, CA, the son of Thurlow Earl and Freda Vertice (Warbington) Parker.
Harry was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He formerly worked as a truck driver for Standard Trucking in Joplin, MO. He loved to work with wood and he was a handy man. Harry loved working outdoors and had many projects that he worked on. He helped take care of the outside maintenance of the Church.
Harry was preceded by his first Wife Karin Parker August 16, 2020, his father and mother Thurlow Earl Parker and Freda Vertice Parker, sister and brother-in-law, Marge and Gerald Nickles.
Harry married Patricia (McKibben) Reynolds March 2021 and she survives. Additional survivors include one sister, Gerri Fortune, Woolstock, IA and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm, Friday, June 17,2021 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 6pm, Friday, June 18,2021 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Johnny Wilkins officiating. Following the services, the body will be taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
