(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Charolett Slaughter, 66, of Reeds, Missouri, passed away on Monday, June 14th, 2021 at her home.
Charolett was born on February 10, 1954 to James A. Garrison and Deloris “Perkins” Garrison. She was a lifetime resident of Jasper County, Missouri. She loved adventure, spending time in the outdoors with her friends and family, and was full of life . She enjoyed camping, kayaking, motorcycle riding, and collecting arrowheads.
Charolett is survived by two sons Floyd and Bert Reid, both of Clinton, Missouri; one brother Roland Garrison of Stotts City, Missouri; two sisters Kay Williams of Kinsley, Kansas, and Rose Clements of Kendricktown, Missouri; and 6 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Deloris Garrison; three brothers Landen Garrison of Joplin, Missouri, Wayne Garrison, and Louis Garrison both of Springfield, Missouri; and one sister Mary Myers of Carthage, Missouri.
A graveside service for Charolett will be held at Reeds Cemetery, in Reeds, Missouri on Saturday, June 19, at 2:00 PM.
