Spencer Paul Matty, 27, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, May 31, 2021. Spencer was born December 10, 1993, to Michael Paul Matty and Heather Eve Brandell at Salem, Arkansas.

Spencer worked as a rancher, carpenter and could fix just about anything. He cherished his time spent with his family, fishing at the river, riding four wheelers, caring for animals, listening to good music and being on the ranch. Spencer was a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend to anyone he met.

Spencer leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Mike and Michelle Matty of Salem, AR; two brothers and sister, Brody Thompson, Brayden Matty and Madison Matty all of Salem, AR; grandparents, Robert and Rita Matty of Salem, AR; grandparents, Matt and Jean Jeffries of Lamar, MO; grandmother, Karen Brandell of Stockton, MO; great-grandmother Elvira Antell of Claremore, Oklahoma; uncle, Harry Matty of Salem, AR; uncles Jereme Brandell, Ory Jeffries, Dalton Brandell; aunts, Elie (Jordan) Maberry, Amber Green and Sami Brandell; godfather, Jeff Robe and wife Jenny of Stillwater, Oklahoma and many other relatives and friends. Spencer is preceded in death by his mother, Heather Brandell; nana, Patricia Matty and grandfather, Dennis Brandell.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 14th at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 49 Tekakwitha Dr., Cherokee Village, Arkansas.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19th at Lake Cemetery in Lamar, MO.
