Geneva Testerman

(From Ozark Funeral Home)

Mrs. Geneva Dell Testerman, 82, of Noel, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon, June 18, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. Geneva was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Geneva was born on July 30, 1938, in Stella, Missouri, to the late Dannie S. and Mollie (Cook) Carter. Geneva married her husband Don on December 28, 1958. Geneva worked many years at Empire Gas in Noel. Following the gas company, she began employment with the Ozark Funeral Home, working in the office and assisting with visitations and funerals.

Geneva enjoyed cooking, was an avid bowler and St. Louis Cardinals fan. She often played the piano and sang at church. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Geneva. She was a caring and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Gene, Bill, Farrell, Claud, Junior, Troy and Floyd; and a sister, Edna West.

Geneva is survived by her husband, Don Testerman of the home; two children, Ron Testerman and wife, Sue, of Noel and Kim Spratt and husband, Pat, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Cale Spratt and wife, Kristin, of Indian Hills, Colorado and Braden Spratt and fiancé, Lauren, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren, Liam, Adalyn and Emerie; a sister, Juanita Whelan and husband, Hank, of Plainfield, Illinois; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastors Bob Cartwright and Bob Holloway officiating.

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Don Testerman, Ron Testerman, Brady Spratt, Cale Spratt, Pat Spratt and David Carter. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
