(From Parker Mortuary)Charles Estes Hendrick, 83, of Carthage, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Mercy of Joplin.
Charles was born March 27, 1938 in Flora, IL to the late union of Charles W. and June R. (Rodgers) Hendrick.
On December 16, 1960, Charles married his sweetheart Judi (Cawthon) Hendrick in Cincinnati, OH. Together they enjoyed 58 years until her passing on March 15, 2018.
Charles graduated from Missouri Southern in 1975. Charles taught History, P.E., and coached basketball and then later worked as a substitute teacher for the Webb City school district.
Survivors include his four children, Steve (Miranda) Hendrick, of Carterville, Jeff (Abby) Hendrick, of Carl Junction, Mike (Joelle) Hendrick, of Kansas City, and Lori (Charlie) Driggs, of Puyallup, Washington; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
