(From Clark Funeral Home)Darren Ray Woods was born July 22, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Francis Dean and Arleta (Richards) Woods. He entered into rest on June 11, 2021 in Neosho, Missouri.
Darren was a lifelong Stark City resident and a self employed carpenter. He loved to draw, play guitar, build model cars and do puzzles. He was a member of the Granby Miracle Church.
Darren and Paula Hickman were married on Sept. 8, 2001 in Granby and she survives.
Additional survivors include his mother, Arleta Woods of Stark City; two daughters, Jorrica Hickman of Sarcoxie and Jakarta Bettes of Wyandotte, OK; one brother, Ronnie Woods of Stark City; one sisters, Shelly Funk of Liberty, MO; six grandchildren, Daniel, Dillon, Lucas, Liam, Lillie and Tierney and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Francis, brother, Kelly Woods and maternal grandmother, Maxine Richards.
Services are incomplete at this time. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Darren be made to Clark Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
