John Davidson

John W. Davidson, 64, of Joplin, MO. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022.

He was born January 10, 1958 in Joplin Missouri, Son of the late Donald D. and JoAnn Davidson of Carthage, MO.








He dedicated his life to being a public servant as a deputy sheriff of Jasper County Missouri and was recognized in Women’s Magazine for the protection of women in 1982. He was injured on the job in 1987 and had to change careers. He loved his time of service to Jasper County Missouri and tried to aid where he could afterwards. He turned his attention to auctioneering and was always looking for ways to help others. He had great passion for horses, fishing, and rare cars. He loved the holidays and spending time with his family. He deeply loved his wife of 39 years who passed in 2020.

He is survived by his two sons John W. Davidson II, and Jason E Swoveland, a brother Donnie Davidson two sisters Mary Heseman and Patricia Davidson, and three grandchildren; Luke N. Davidson, Evan B.Davidson, and Caytlynn E.Swoveland,
