(From Clark Funeral Home)Ira M. Stewart, Granby, Missouri, was born December 4, 1926, in Crestline, Kansas. He entered into rest in the comfort of his home on October 22, 2022, at the age of 95.
Ira served his country in the U.S. Army in the Baker’s Division and served in Japan.
He was an entrepreneur and built and sold homes as a general contractor.
On January 12, 1948, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Ira and Geneva Anna (Schach) were united in marriage, and they shared 73 years together. Geneva survives of the home, as does one daughter, Susan Stewart of Neosho, and a half-sister, Ruth Daniels of Seneca.
Ira is preceded in death by a son, Buddy Dean.
A private family service is planned.
