(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Robert “Bo” George Francisco, age 74, of Joplin, MO, passed away on Saturday October 22, 2022, at his home, following a sudden illness.
Bo was born on April 30, 1948, in Carthage, MO, the son of the late Claude and Freda (Stacey) Francisco. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War. He worked twenty-one years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, driving his little red convertible, spending time with family and friends, and going to the casino. He has helped many times with MDA Fundraisers.
He married Becky (McDunner) Francisco on October 17, 1977, in Miami, OK, and she survives. Additional survivors include 2 daughters, Samantha Busse and husband Cal, Joplin, MO and Tonya Merritt, Wichita, KS; two brothers, Doc Francisco and wife Judy, Miami, OK, and Ronnie Francisco, Joplin, MO; two sisters, Patty Triplett and husband Dennis, Lenexa, KS, and Shirley Barker and husband John, Fosters, AL; and three grandchildren, Hollie Busse and Kaden Busse of Joplin, MO and Levi Corteville of Wichita, KS, brother in law Bob McDunner and his wife Jeni of Humansville, MO, sister in law Brenda Murray and her husband Johnny of Joplin, MO, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Kyle Robertson; one brother, Freddie Francisco; one sister, Phyllis Francisco; and one granddaughter, Madison Robertson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
