Bettie Kirk

Bettie Louise Kirk went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2022, at the age of 81. Bettie was born July 4, 1941, in Electra, Texas, the daughter of John Dee and Annie Lee (Keese) Frasier. 

She was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom for many years, taking care of her family. She later worked as a quality control technician for Honey Bear Foods in Neosho and George's in Cassville, Missouri. 










She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, gardening, canning, reading mystery novels, and going to garage sales and flea markets. Bettie was a member of Jones Chapel Church for fifty-two years and taught Sunday School and Bible School. 

 On June 12, 1957, in Odessa, Texas, Bettie and George Kirk were united in marriage and shared sixty-five years together. 

Bettie is survived by her husband, George; three children, Sandy (Randy) McFarland of Washburn, Missouri, Bud Kirk, and fiance`, Tangi of Rogers, Arkansas, and Katy Tatum of Granby, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Jacob (Jennifer) McFarland, Emily (Kevin) Styles, Annie (Dennis) Messina, Jenni Kirk, Allison Kirk, Bryson Hounschell and Stacey (Joe) Stinebaugh; twenty-five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy (Melva) Frasier and Jimmie (Danielle) Frasier; sisters-in-law, Faye Frasier, Jo Kirk, and Helen Kirk and brother-in-law, Steve Kirk. 








She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, George Frasier, and son-in-law, Scott Tatum.
