(From Clark Funeral Home)Ken Douglas Green, age 55, of Neosho, Missouri, peacefully passed away at 12:10 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born March 26, 1967, in Lebanon, Missouri, to Obeal “Obie” and Sherry (Smith) Green.
Ken graduated from Lebanon High School in 1985. In 2001 Ken met his life partner John Buzzard, and together they resided in Neosho.
Ken worked as a groundskeeper for the Neosho IOOF Cemetery, and he worked alongside his cousin, creating jewelry for their Etsy store, Dilworth Road. More recently, he worked for Lowes in the garden department. He was a kind soul who truly loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Sherry Green of Lebanon; partner, John Buzzard and his mom, Nancy Buzzard of Neosho; one brother, Tony Green and his wife, Joni, of Lebanon; niece, Kayla Stephens and her husband, Daren; nephew, Brian Decker and his wife, Jenna; four great-nieces; two great-nephews his beloved dog, Pete; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
His father, Obeal Green, preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. A time for viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Ken is to be interred at Oakwood Cemetery in Neosho. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken’s memory to Faithful Friends, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
Ken will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
