(From Clark Funeral Home)Jennifer Ruth FitzJohn was born September 22, 1946, in Neosho, Missouri, to Louie and Esther (Rentfro) Schuler. She entered into rest at Yates Center Health and Rehab following a lengthy illness on October 24, 2022, at the age of 76 years, one month and two days.
Mrs. FitzJohn graduated from St. John’s Hospital School of nursing in 1967 as an RN. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drury College in 1970.
After graduation, she moved to Wichita, KS, where she worked for Wesley Medical Center. She later moved to Independence, KS, where she worked for the Montgomery County Health Department and retired after thirty-five years of service. She was a member of the First Christian Church and CWF Women's group.
Jennifer married Carol FitzJohn on June 15, 1973, in Neosho. Carol preceded her in death on April 23, 1999. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Stephanie (Jedidiah) Seely of Fort Scott, Kansas; two grandchildren, Garrett James Seely and Brianne Adelle Seely; one nephew Jon (Terri) Stouffer of Neosho, Missouri; and one great niece Savannah (Isaac) Groves of Joplin, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri.
