(From Clark Funeral Home)Gregory “Greg” Lee Cook, age 63, of Blue Springs, Missouri, formerly of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at his home. He was born August 25, 1959, in Neosho, to Delmar and Patsy (Lasiter) Cook.
Greg is a graduate of Neosho High School and received his associate degree from Crowder College in Neosho. Greg and his father owned and operated DC Electrical Supply in Neosho, for over 30 years. He was Christian by faith. Greg enjoyed reading, building model cars, boats, and airplanes. He loved teaching and mentoring all the children in his life. Greg cherished spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Survived by his children, Nicholas Cook and wife Priscilla of Blue Springs, Missouri, Dustin Cook of Durango, Colorado, Kassy Strang and her husband, Robert of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and Ryan Hammack; siblings, Michael Cook of Mountain View, California, Chris Cook of Joplin, Missouri; grandchildren, Winter Jean-Lee Cook, Theodore Cook, Kahlan Beals, and Hope Essig, all of Blue Springs.
His parents preceded him in death.
Per his wishes, Greg was cremated, and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. Interment will follow at Gibson Cemetery.
