(From Clark Funeral Home)Rose Ann (Crooks) Knight passed away October 23, 2022, after a long, and fulfilling life.
She was born September 30, 1930 to parents Ralph and Helen Crooks in Springfield, MO, where she lived until graduating from Missouri State University in 1952. She then moved to Newtonia, MO to teach home economics at Midway High School.
She met Ben E Knight shortly thereafter; they were married in 1954. They settled on Ben’s family farm in Stark City, moving to the outskirts of Neosho in 1994. He preceded her in death in 2006.

She was also preceded in death by her good friend, Floyd Sill, in 2013, and her brother Henry Crooks in 2004.
She is survived by sons Paul (Trish) and Mark (Martha), daughters Ginger Knight and Janice Cook (Chris), six grandsons – Brandon Knight, Cory Knight (Tammy), Benjamin Knight, Dustin Knight, Matthew Knight and Christian Cook -- and four great-grandchildren.

Rose Ann was an avid square dancer with her husband. She was a constant home room mother and PTA member for her children, and an active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. In her middle years, she spent many hours hand-quilting. She was much-loved by her friends and family and will be missed.
Private family services will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church at a later date. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri.
Although Rose Ann loved flowers, please plant a flower of your own in lieu of sending them, or make a donation to an animal shelter of your choice.
