(From Clark Funeral Home)Charles ‘Charlie’ Dean Taylor was born October 29, 1966 in Joplin, Missouri, one of five sons to Robert C. and Catherine (Embrey) Taylor. He entered into rest on October 28, 2022 at his home in Granby at the age of 55.
Charlie was a lifelong area resident and graduate of East Newton High School, class of 1985. He worked at Sunbeam as a forklift driver and then in construction in Texas, where he was injured at the age of 30 and was disabled.
He enjoyed playing music, working on cars and enjoyed doing anything mechanical. Charlie was Baptized at the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by four brothers, Richard Taylor of Stark City, Missouri, Russell Taylor of Fair Grove, Missouri, Keith Taylor and wife, Della and James Taylor and wife, Melinda, all of Granby, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other family.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters-in-laws, Jane Taylor and Denise Taylor.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 4 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby. The family will receive friends following the service until 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
