Gary Miller

Mr. Gary Dean Miller, 73, of Oronogo, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, October 14, 2022, in the comfort of his son’s home, after a recent decline in health.

Gary entered this life on May 18, 1949, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, born to the union of the late Russell and Clara (Pugh) Miller. He was raised on the family homestead near Oronogo, Missouri and was a 1967, graduate of Carl Junction High School. He furthered his education by attending MSSC in Joplin. 









For over fifty years he worked in the family business, Miller Implement. He enjoyed riding horses, shooting pool and throwing darts, visiting with his friends at Tropicana Bar and giving dance lessons at the former Gold Dust in Joplin.

Gary is survived by his son, Keith Miller and wife, Tammy, of Oronogo; four grandchildren, Kyle Miller, Morgan Rangel, Hunter Miller and R.J. Rangel; two siblings, Dave Miller and Shirley Melton both of Oronogo; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Nashville Cemetery with Steve Doubledee officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, Missouri.
