Glen Darrell Sanders, 77, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at his residence.

Darrell entered this life on January 7, 1945 in Stella, Missouri, born to the late Walter and Eva (Durham) Sanders. He was born and raised in McDonald County and has resided here all of his life. Darrell worked in construction. He really enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Joy Renée Sanders; five brothers, Robert Sanders, LaVaughn Sanders, Tony Sanders, Denny Sanders and Clyde Sanders; a sister, June Sanders.

Darrell is survived by two sons, Marty Sanders and wife Tammy of Anderson, Missouri, Darren Sanders of Tiff City, Missouri; two brothers, Gene Sanders and wife, Carolyn of Stella, Missouri, Donnie Sanders of Aurora, Missouri; a grandson Bradley Sanders of Anderson, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Darrell.

Graveside Funeral Services for Darrell will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Union Cemetery in Stella, Missouri. Pastor Jamie Cope will officiate. 

Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Darwin Smith, Steve Renner, Marty Sanders, Darren Sanders, Bradley Sanders and Scott Sanders. Herbert Smith will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to be used according to the families wishes.
