(From Parker Mortuary)Heath Richmond Tyler, age 48, of Joplin, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, after a battle with cancer.
Heath was a member of the Joplin Elks Club, who loved to play pool, golf, fish, camp and explore the outdoors. His biggest attribute was the love for his friends, family, and wife. He loved to have new adventures creating priceless memories together. Anyone who knew Heath knew what a kind, gentle, and giving soul he was. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor and pleasure of knowing him.
He leaves behind his wife, Jenny Tyler; bonus daughter, Natalie Adams; his son, Quinton Tyler; his sister, Megan Pace; a brother-in-law, James Pace; father-in-law, Arthur Bosworth; mother-in-law, Janet Stevens; step-father-in-law, Rick Stevens; and several cousins; and numerous friends. Heath was preceded in death by his bonus son, Hayden Adams; mother and stepfather, Melanie and Barry Tyler; and grandparents, Clyde and Carolene Coleman.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary, 602 S. Byers Ave, Joplin, MO 64801, with visitation to follow. Graveside committal of ashes will be held on Tuesday, January 9th at 2:00 PM at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin.
Memorial contributions may be given to the children and may be made to Jenny Tyler and entrusted to the mortuary.
