(From Brenner Mortuary)Gerald "Jerry" Lewis Garrow, 79, of Joplin, MO, passed away on January 15, 2024, at his home in Joplin, Missouri,
He was born on October 28, 1944, to George and Lila (Clinton) Garrow in New London, Wisconsin.
Jerry started his trucking career with Cummins Engines, he spent many years in trucking where he became passionate about the sales side of that industry. After leaving the trucking, he transitioned into underground utilities before retiring from O'Reilly.
He was always up for a day trip to some small town attraction, such as Red Oak II, Eureka Springs or even the local Dairy Queen. While making certain to take the most indirect route to get there so he could spend more time with whichever friend, son or grandchild that was fortunate enough to tag along. Jerry held a special place in his heart for the medical personnel that took such good care of him for many years before his passing. Always sure to show his appreciation with a box of chocolates from Richardson Candy House or a Chick-Fil-A gift card.
