Linda J. McCully, 70, Carl Junction, MO, entered into rest on Aug. 1, 2018 at Spring River Christian Village, following an illness.
Linda was born Oct. 4, 1947 in Neosho, the daughter of Everett R. and Verna (Jackson) Brock and was a lifelong area resident. Linda had owned and operated a beauty shop and was an over the road truck driver. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing and was a member of Harmony Heights Baptist Church in Carl Junction.
Linda and Bobby Joe McCully were married on Sept. 2, 1995 at Wyandotte, OK and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2014.
She is survived by a son, Kirk Everett Kernell of Anderson; stepson, Roy Dale Kernell of Wichita, KS; stepdaughter, Jackie Kernell of Kansas; one brother, Teddy Brock and wife, Alicia of Neosho; one sister, Tina Weber and husband, Robert of Russellville, AR; five grandchildren, Alexus Yzquiervo, Roy Kernell, Sarah Kernell, Matthew Kernell, and Katie Kernell; and one great grandson, Jensen Yzquiervo.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Sat. Aug., 11 from noon until service time.
Services for Linda will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 at 1 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Charlie Burnett will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Belfast Cemetery, west of Neosho.
