Nina Marie Storie, age 77, Joplin, passed away at 1:58 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Mercy Hospital.
Nina was born April 24, 1941 in Ogallala, Nebraska to the late William Ebener and Edna German Ebener and had lived in Joplin most of her life.
A homemaker, Nina was a longtime member of Duenweg Assembly of God. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, artwork and playing cards. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
She married Harold Storie in 1972 in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2011.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Tackett and husband, Kenny, Neosho; four sons, Gale Storie, Hemet, California, Kerry Storie, Joplin, Tony Storie and wife, Theresa, Joplin, Eric Storie, Joplin; one brother, Charley Ebener, Joplin; grandchildren, Nikki, Kendall, Natalie, Austin, Cole; and three great grandchildren, Ansley, Aayden and Jaleigh.
Services are planned for Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Bill Hobson will officiate. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-6:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
