Vickie Golubski

Vickie Lynn Golubski, 61, of Monett, MO, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 while at Mercy Hospital in Joplin following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Vickie was born on July 12, 1957 in Aurora, MO, daughter of the late Glen and Alberta (Venzlaff) Robbins. She received her education from Monett Schools and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

She married Jim Golubski in 1997 and he preceded her in death on June 14, 2016.

Vickie is survived by two daughters, Jamie Matejcek, of Joplin, MO and Jade Schumann and husband James, of Joplin; one stepson, Mark Golubski and wife Susan, of Walnut Grove, MO; six grandchildren, Tyler Schumann, Edward Tunnell, Gus, Ava, Amber and Enrico Matejcek, all of Joplin; and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett. Father Rahab Isidor will officiate. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gynca in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
