Sadie Camerer

Sadie M. Camerer, 87, Granby, entered into rest on September 1, 2018 in Neosho, following a two month illness.
 
Sadie was born December 11, 1930 in Granby, the daughter of Fern and Essie (Burress) Gamble. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked as a seamstress at Big Smith and as a cook for the East Newton Schools. She enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening and was a member of the Granby First Baptist Church. 
 
Sadie and Wayne Camerer were married on January 6, 1950 in Bentonville, AR and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2010. 
 
She is survived by a son, Pat Camerer and wife, Sara of Granby; two brothers, Jerry Gamble and wife, Pat and Darrell Gamble and wife, Hazel, all of Granby; one sister, Dortha Lee McNeely of Carthage; six grandchildren, Justin Camerer, Amanda Camerer, Shynan Wilson, Katy Cooper, ShaLynn Dannels and Lakota Cooper and three great grandchildren, River Franks, Creek Wilson and Paisley Dannels. 
 
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Michael W. Camerer and two brothers, Kenneth and Donald Gamble.

Graveside services will be Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Granby Memorial Cemetery. The casket will be closed at all times.
