Russell Gene “Rusty” Frisinger, 56, of Springdale, died Sunday, July 7, 2019. He was born January 22, 1963, in Joplin, Missouri. Rusty was a huge sports fan. He enjoyed watching his daughter’s games while they were growing up as well as the Cardinals, Chiefs, and Razorbacks. He also raced late-model dirt track cars for many years. Rusty worked with both Farm Bureau and Washington County Farmer’s Mutual insurance companies. During his years in the insurance industry he served on several national and local insurance boards.
He is survived by his wife, Dondi Frisinger; three daughters, Jordan Frisinger, Payton Frisinger, and Bree Collins, all of Springdale; one grandson, Gannon Collins; his parents, David and Carol Frisinger of Racine, Missouri; one sister, Sherry Richardson, of Seneca, Missouri; one brother, Randy Frisinger and wife Sharon of Joplin; three nieces, one nephew, six great-nephews, and three great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carroll and Fanny Frisinger, Rollie and Ruby Welch; an aunt, Sharon Haynes; his mother-in-law, Judy Baugh; and grandmother-in-law, Thelma “TomTom” Keck.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice.
