Keith Artym, 62, of Neosho, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at the Freeman West hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Keith entered this life on August 19, 1957, in Carthage, Missouri, born to the late, Mike and Ina (Sweezy) Artym. He was a hard worker, amazing artist and an all-around social person, never meeting a stranger. Keith enjoyed racing, kayaking and was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan. He will be remembered as a caring and loving man.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Tammy and a grandchild, Piper Artym.
Keith is survived by his life partner of 33 years, Rebecca Cartwright of the home; children, Thomas Artym and Lori Fisher of Saginaw, Missouri, Robert Artym of Carthage, Missouri; siblings, Rocky Artym of Avilla, Missouri, Tyler Artym of Carthage, Missouri, Shane Artym of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Joe Artym, Mikayla Artym, Alexis Artym-Close; a great-grandchild, Charlie Artym; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Keith.
Funeral services for Keith will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home, burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri. Visitation will be held on January 8, 2020, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at this time.
