Clinton L. Schilling, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation Facility at the age of 85.
He was born on August 20, 1934 in Lockwood, MO to Albert and Emma (VonStroh) Schilling. Clinton graduated from Lockwood High School.
He had a passion for working hard, and was a successful farmer. Clinton enjoyed doing dirt work around the farm.
He was united in marriage to Nancy D. Ritter on August 19, 1983 in Carthage, MO. Clinton was member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and Emma Schilling; and his first wife, Betty J. (Dodd) Schilling.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Schilling; three children, Neil Schilling and wife Barbara of Long View, MO, Kathy Langston of Utah, and Jeff Schilling and wife Sandy of Carthage, MO; four step-children, Terry McClain of Lockwood, MO, Linda Sorden and husband Donnie of Lockwood, MO, Mike McClain of Golden City, MO, and Melissa Gulick of Golden City, MO; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020, in the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
