Judy Ann Dawson, age 69, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born April 5, 1950, in Monett, Missouri, the daughter of Edgar and Rosalee (Rice) Bowerman.
Judy was a 1968 graduate of Miller High School and was a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, for 37 years retiring in 2012 and a member of the Round Grove Baptist Church.
On April 18, 1970, she married Edward Meredith Dawson, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 28, 2014.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Angela Hough of Gonzales, Louisiana; two sons, Brock Dawson and his wife, Stanna, of Oronogo, Missouri and Brett Dawson of Austin, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Austin Richardson, Meredith Hough, Bella Hough, Ray Hough, Ryan Dawson, Matthew Knoderer, Arianna Dawson, Brianna Dawson and Kelsey Dawson; one brother-in-law, Robert Dawson and his wife, Anna, of Strafford, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Mary Lockhart, of Mt. Vernon and several nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Rosalee, husband, Edward, and two brothers, Gene Bowerman and Eddie Lee Bowerman.
A funeral service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020, at the Round Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Round Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020, in the funeral home chapel.
