Pam Conrad

(From Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary)

Pam Conrad, 75, closed her eyes on earth January 28, 2020 and awoke in her Heavenly home after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.

Born June 4, 1944 to loving parents, Jack and Betty (Rickman) Kirkendoll, Pam grew up in Baxter Springs, KS, graduating in 1962 before attending Pittsburg State.

Pam spent many years in the insurance industry and retired as the office manager for Midwest Machine, in Neosho, MO.

In addition to her parents, Pam was welcomed into Heaven by Terry Kirkendoll, brother; Curtis Kirkendoll, nephew; Phillip Conrad, stepson; Nicole Conrad, granddaughter; her grandparents, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.

Fiercely stubborn her entire life, this proved to be a blessing. Pam fought this cancer with the same stubborn tenacity she fought for anything she passionately believed in. If you were fortunate enough to be her friend, she was stubbornly loyal, loved unconditionally, she never passed judgment, and best of all, she never berated you even if she thought you made a dumb choice or decision.

Pam is survived by husband, Cal Conrad, of the home; children, Melissa (Tom) Hatting, Ashton, IA; Shan Mathews, Seattle, WA; Curtis (Betty) Conrad, Fayetteville, AR, Pam (John) Dramis, Fayetteville, Kevin Conrad, Grove, OK. Surviving grandchildren, who affectionately named her "Blue Grandma" (because of her beautiful, everything blue home decor) are: Clayton Bradbury (wife, Jenny, and two children), Bryant Bradbury, Alicia Winter (husband, Steve, and three children), Connor Mathews, Dalton Hatting, Casey (Jeff) Morris, Felicity Conrad and Callie Conrad; and brother, Jack Kirkendoll, Jr., Baton Rouge, LA.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a future date and will be announced.

Arrangements are under the direction of Thornhill Dillon Mortuary.
