Jimmy Fidler

Jimmy Leon Fidler passed away after a brief illness in Austin, Texas, on December 28, 2019. He was born on September 9, 1958 to Ivan and Lela (Harlen) Fidler.

He married Glorian (Garza) Fidler on February 2, 2008. He was an avid motorcyclist and a traveler who lived in many places across the country including Missouri, Alaska, New Mexico, and Texas.

He is survived by his wife, parents, and his children by birth and by love: Jillian Fidler (Dave Sommer), Jefferson City, Missouri; Joseph Levi, Juneau, Alaska; Cassandra Bouschor (Richard), Juneau, Alaska; Joshua Ortiz (Audrey), Corpus Christi, Texas; Nathaniel Smith, Carterville, Missouri; Riana Cabalero (Jeremy), Carterville, Missouri; and Michael D’Angelo, Joplin, Missouri. He is also survived by his brothers Gary (Vity) Fidler, Galena, Kansas; and Steven Fidler (Linda Dicken), Wichita, Kansas; his sister Darla (Scott) Wilson, Oronogo, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Currier, Gary Fidler, Jr., Sarah Keeter, Kirra Antrobus, and Bethany Crawford, as well as nine grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

The family plans to hold a private memorial at a later date.
