Linda Reber

Linda Lou Reber, 68, of Granby, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda entered this life on December 10, 1951 in Granby, to the union of the late James and Emma Elizabeth (Harris) Reber.

She was a graduate of Diamond High School and attended College of the Ozarks. She retired from La-Z-Boy of Neosho, after many years as a dedicated employee. She attended Crowder College and received a degree as a Pharmaceutical Technician. She also worked several years for Casey’s in Neosho. Linda was a lifelong area resident. 

She was a member of New Fairview Baptist Church, and was very active within the church. She enjoyed reading, attending her nephews and great nieces and nephews sporting events, as well as being an avid KC Chiefs fan. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.








She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jimmie “Dale” Reber and Claude Reber.

Linda is survived by her sister-in-law, Judy Reber of Sarcoxie; nephews, Jim Reber (Heither) and Joe Reber (Alyssa) all of Wentworth; seven great nieces and nephews, Becky, Karleigh, Braidan, Brantley, Emmerson, Maverick and Tucker; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Linda are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at New Fairview Baptist Church in Sarcoxie with Pastor Marvin Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in VanBuren Union Cemetery, Wentworth. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the church. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Jim Reber, Joe Reber, Braidan Reber, Tommy Jack, Curtis Feather and Dusty Feather. Honorary pallbearers are Denver Feather, Steve Gripka, Norman Penn and Leroy Housh. The family has directed memorial contributions to New Fairview Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
