Anthony Robert Pinto was born October 5, 1935 in Hackensack, New Jersey the son of Silvio Nicholas and Mary Ann (Macorone) Pinto. He entered into rest, following a one year illness at the age of 84.
Anthony moved to the Diamond, Missouri area in 1990 from Alaska. He owned and operated an auto body shop. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the West Union Church of Christ.
Anthony and Grace (Hawkins) were married in 1984 in Alaska and she survives.
He is additionally survived by five step children, Kim Haase and wife, Nancy of Springfield, David Haase and wife, Janie of Pleasant Hope, Pat Myers and husband, Terry of Springfield, Ann Groves and husband, Bobby of Lithia Springs, Georgia and Nancy Crotser and husband, Robin of Nixa; three grandchildren, Matt Haase and wife, Molly of Kansas City, Danny Haase of Columbia and Sarah Groves of Lithia Springs, Georgia and great granddaughter, Betsy Haase of Kansas City. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Anthony has been taken for cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
