Janice Kaye Timmons, age 58, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at the Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was born June 30, 1961, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Robert Eugene and Joyce Lavonne (Bailey) Shonk.
Janice attended high school at Evansdale High School in Evansdale, Iowa and received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree in Waterloo, Iowa.
On January 14, 1995, she married Everett William Timmons, in Doniphan. He preceded her in death on August 11, 2001.
Janice is survived by her father, Robert Shonk, of Doniphan; one daughter, Trishia Timmons of Doniphan; two sons, Seth Spaulding and his wife, April, of La Russell, Missouri and Zachary Spaulding and his wife, Kayla, of Bolivar, Missouri; six grandchildren, Baylie, Abbygail, Rylie, Gabe, Maddyson and Amelia; two sisters, Denise Canaday and her husband, Ty, of Memphis, Tennessee and Susan Bayer and her husband, Phil, of Joplin, Missouri; four brothers, Robert Shonk, Jr. of Memphis, Marlin Shonk and his wife, Christina, of Ellsinore, Missouri, Darren Shonk and his wife, P.J. of Carthage, Missouri and Christopher Shonk and his wife, Betsy, of Webb City, Missouri.
Janice was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce, husband, Everett, granddaughter, Keylie Vaughan and grandson, Garrett Spaulding.
A visitation will be from 11:00-12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Miller Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Miller, Missouri.
