Lianne Brown

Lianne Marie Brown, 80, Diamond, MO, went to be with her Lord in her sleep on January 13, 2020. She was born on July 12, 1939 in East Chicago, Indiana, to Ralph S. and Stella (Thomas) Bartley.

Lianne moved to the area 26 years ago. She worked in the hotel industry as a housekeeper. Butterflies, birds and flowers were her life; they brought her through Pancreatic Cancer. She was a member of Diamond First Baptist Church and participated in The Silver Bells group. 

Lianne married Ron Brown on August 29, 1994 in Cassville, MO, and he survives of the home. 








She is also survived by her son, Robert Shodeen and wife Marcia of Yukon, OK; her daughter, Tammy Pruss and husband Uwe of Carthage, MO; four grandchildren, Brandon and Bryan Shodeen of El Reno OK, Josh and Allen Pruss of Carthage, MO; and two great-grandchildren, Braylon and Piper Shodeen of El Reno, OK. 

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Melvin Bartley; one sister, Marlyn Jackson; and one son, David Shodeen. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2 pm at the Diamond Cemetery. Pastor Ron Crow will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020, 5:00 – 6:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
