Daren Wilkinson Sr. passed away on the morning of January 27, 2020 at the age of 56 from complications brought on by cancer. He was comforted by those he loved in his final moments and peacefully left this world.
Daren had a story to tell for every occasion. You could argue all day whether those stories were true or not, but he believed every word. While he always ran into someone he knew everywhere he went we wondered if he’d ever met a stranger.
In his absence the sales of Steel Reserve will surely plummet, catfish numbers at various rivers will prosper and the grass on the local golf courses will have a significantly smaller number of divots to be replaced.
On the other hand, the memories and love he leaves behind will continue. He will always be remembered by, Tammy, the love of his life, numerous kids and grandkids, family members as well the extended families that he treated as his own.
Definitely gone too soon, but certainly not lacking in the impression he left. We love you Daren.
Memorial visitation will be held from 7-8 p.m. Thursday January, 30 2020 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory in Joplin, Mo.
